Our products are sustainably made from 100% organic cotton and 10% of each purchase is donated to ocean conservation organizations around the world fighting to protect oceans and marine wildlife.

More than just a brand

KeAloha, pronounced ke.aˈlo.ha, means "the love" in the Hawaiian language. We call ourselves the love company, because we embody our love for the oceans every single day.

But our goal is not just to build an ocean conservation brand, but a community of ocean stewards & advocates that practice conscious lifestyles and fight for our ocean's future.

How it started

Growing up surfing, we always found ourselves near the ocean. It wasn't until we were older that we realized how badly our oceans were being treated.

During a trip to Costa Rica, we found a secret surf break, or so we thought. We may have been the only surfers there, but there were hundreds of pounds of plastic floating on the surface and washed up on shore.

We had always loved the ocean for what it gave us - surfing. But we wondered, were we giving enough back?

At that moment, we committed to becoming lifelong advocates for the ocean, defending it at every turn and protecting it from the threats it continues to face.

Our Products

When we launched our first collection, our products were made from recycled plastic – just like everyone else. We thought we were protecting the oceans.

It turns out, we were just delaying the inevitable.

The process involved in creating clothing made from recycled plastic is simple – shred the plastic, melt it, form fibers, and weave them into clothing. There’s more to it than that, but you get the picture.

Millions of dollars were spent developing technology so that fashion brands could develop eco-friendly clothing. Nobody predicted that this advanced technology would quickly be undone by a washing machine.

That’s right. Every time you do a load of laundry, your washing machine sheds hundreds of thousands of microplastic fibers from your clothes into the waterway. Eventually, they end up in the ocean.

Like many modern brands, we were greenwashing. And the worst part is, we didn’t even know it.

This isn’t an excuse. But we knew we had to make a change.

And as of our Fall 2022 Collection, we’re proud to say that all of our products are now:
