Our ocean conservation hoodies & crewnecks are built for the beach, the high seas, and everything in between. Made from sustainable materials, 10% of each purchase goes to ocean conservation.
Why ocean conservation?
The oceans are endangered, facing a number of threats:
- Plastic pollution
- Overfishing & bycatch
- Illegal fishing & poaching
- Chemical & oil pollution
- Warming sea temperatures
- Ocean acidification
- 2000+ endangered marine species
We're on a mission to save them. Because without healthy oceans, we are nothing.
Benefits of healthy oceans
As the largest ecosystem on Earth, healthy oceans:
- Reduce the impact of climate change by absorbing heat and carbon dioxide from the atmosphere
- Provide food security to billions of people around the world
- Stimulate global markets with trillions of dollars from the blue economy
- Support the future of modern medicine by providing solutions to dangerous diseases
- Supply over half of the oxygen on Earth
Ocean-friendly materials
Our ocean-friendly hoodies & crewnecks are made from a blend of recycled plastic & organic cotton. Each order is shipped in 100% recycled packaging and offset with carbon credits that support meaningful carbon reduction projects.
We're always working to reduce our environmental impact. That's why, as of the Fall 22 Collection, every new product is made from 100% organic cotton.
Who we support
We support multiple conservation organizations to make a well-rounded effort in the fight to protect our oceans. 10% of a purchase of an ocean-friendly hoodie or crewneck is donated to one of the following organizations:
- Bite-Back - fighting to ban shark fins & meat across the UK.
- Love the Oceans – working to establish a Marine Protected Area in the Inhambane Province of Mozambique to protect sharks, rays, and humpback whales.
- SeaTrees - planting mangroves and kelp forests to restore oceans and slow the effects of climate change
- Changing Tides Foundation - a women-led organization implementing community solutions to promote gender equity, social justice, and ocean health around the globe.
Show off your commitment to the ocean and its inhabitants all while staying warm on those late summer nights.
