The Men's Accent Hoodie blends organic cotton with recycled plastic bottles (rPET). Organic cotton is grown without synthetic pesticides and typically needs far less irrigation water than conventional cotton, which covers about 2.5% of the world's farmland but accounts for roughly 16% of global insecticide use.

The recycled content comes from post-consumer bottles that are cleaned, melted down, and respun into yarn instead of going to a landfill or waterway. Making rPET this way uses meaningfully less water and energy than producing virgin polyester from new petroleum.

This is one of the few KeAloha styles eligible for exchange: unworn items with tags still attached can be exchanged by emailing hello@kealoha.co. Machine wash cold and dry low to avoid shrinkage.

Mangroves and kelp forests do two jobs at once. They store carbon in their roots and sediment for the long term, and they act as nurseries for fish and other marine life. Losing them means losing both a carbon sink and a habitat. SeaTrees works directly with local communities to plant and protect these ecosystems, rather than just funding research about them.
