Sudden downpours don't stand a chance against the Black Water-Resistant Windbreaker, built to run true to size with a PFAS-free water-resistant DWR finish that beads water off the shell before it ever soaks through. That finish repels rain and wind without relying on the "forever chemicals" found in traditional water-resistant coatings, so you get real weather protection without the tradeoff. In classic black, this jacket looks as sharp ducking into a meeting as it does ducking under an awning mid-downpour.
The shell itself is recycled polyester (rPET), spun from cleaned, melted-down post-consumer plastic bottles instead of virgin petroleum-based fiber. Producing rPET this way uses meaningfully less water and energy than manufacturing new polyester, all while keeping plastic bottles out of landfills and waterways. Combined with the PFAS-free DWR finish, the result is a jacket that's durable, moisture-wicking, and genuinely protective in wet, windy conditions — without introducing the persistent chemicals that traditional waterproofing has relied on for decades.
Machine wash cold and hang to dry; avoid fabric softener and high heat, both of which can wear down the DWR finish over time.
