Fabric & Materials
Fabric & Materials
The Charcoal Recycled Cropped Running Tank is made from recycled rPET. This fabric is knit from recycled rPET, made from post-consumer plastic bottles diverted from landfill rather than newly drilled petroleum. It moves moisture away from skin during a run and dries fast, without relying on a PFAS-based wicking finish.
Shipping & Returns
Shipping & Returns
We offer standard returns and exchanges on the Charcoal Recycled Cropped Running Tank: unworn, unwashed items with tags still attached can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery. Email hello@kealoha.co to start a return. Machine wash cold and hang to dry, since high heat is what shortens the life of any stretch fabric fastest.
The Cause Behind This Piece
The Cause Behind This Piece
10% of every Charcoal Recycled Cropped Running Tank purchase funds ocean conservation. We're still finalizing which specific nonprofit this style will support, and we'll say so directly on this page the moment it's decided, the same way we do for every KeAloha piece. We'd rather tell you what we don't know yet than make something up.
Charcoal is the running tank shade that hides road grime and salt lines equally well, which is exactly why the Charcoal Recycled Cropped Running Tank earns its spot in heavy rotation. The cropped, fitted cut is designed for warm-weather mileage — less fabric to trap heat, a hemline that stays put through every stride, and a silhouette that layers cleanly under a light jacket for cooler starts before the sun's fully up.
The fabric is recycled rPET, made from cleaned, melted-down post-consumer plastic bottles rather than newly manufactured polyester. Producing it this way uses meaningfully less water and energy than making virgin polyester, while diverting plastic waste that would otherwise end up in a landfill or, worse, a waterway. On the run, that translates to a moisture-wicking knit that pulls sweat off your skin instead of holding onto it, plus a durability that holds up through wash after wash without the fabric breaking down or losing its recovery.
Machine wash cold, hang to dry, and avoid high heat, which can degrade the recycled fibers over time. In line with every KeAloha piece, 10% of this purchase funds ocean and wildlife conservation — a fitting return for a tank made from plastic that was headed toward the ocean in the first place.
