These shorts are made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, chosen because organic cultivation forgoes the synthetic pesticides that conventional cotton farming depends on at scale — conventional cotton is responsible for close to 16% of global insecticide use despite covering only around 2.5% of farmland. That gap matters, and organic certification exists specifically to close it.
