This shade is carried by GOTS-certified organic cotton, grown without the synthetic pesticides conventional cotton farming relies on so heavily — a category that covers roughly 2.5% of world farmland yet drives close to 16% of global insecticide use. Organic growing means the fiber arrives softer and the dye takes more evenly, which is part of why this teal reads so rich and saturated instead of flat.
