Fabric & Materials
Fabric & Materials
The Deep Teal Recycled Cropped Running Tank is made from recycled rPET. This fabric is knit from recycled rPET, made from post-consumer plastic bottles diverted from landfill rather than newly drilled petroleum. It moves moisture away from skin during a run and dries fast, without relying on a PFAS-based wicking finish.
Shipping & Returns
Shipping & Returns
We offer standard returns and exchanges on the Deep Teal Recycled Cropped Running Tank: unworn, unwashed items with tags still attached can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of delivery. Email hello@kealoha.co to start a return. Machine wash cold and hang to dry, since high heat is what shortens the life of any stretch fabric fastest.
The Cause Behind This Piece
The Cause Behind This Piece
10% of every Deep Teal Recycled Cropped Running Tank purchase funds ocean conservation. We're still finalizing which specific nonprofit this style will support, and we'll say so directly on this page the moment it's decided, the same way we do for every KeAloha piece. We'd rather tell you what we don't know yet than make something up.
Deep Teal was made for the runs that end with your feet in the water. The Deep Teal Recycled Cropped Running Tank has a cropped, fitted cut that keeps you cool through humid coastal mornings, sitting close to the body without restricting your stride on a tempo run or an easy recovery lap along the shore. It's the tank that looks just as at home post-run, damp and salty, as it does at the starting line.
Underneath the color is recycled rPET, polyester rebuilt from cleaned, melted-down post-consumer plastic bottles instead of virgin raw material. That manufacturing process meaningfully cuts down on the water and energy a comparable virgin-polyester tank would require, while pulling plastic out of the landfill-and-waterway cycle it would otherwise be stuck in — a fitting material story for a color named after the ocean. On the body, it performs: moisture-wicking to keep sweat moving off your skin, and durable enough to handle a running rotation without stretching out or fading.
Machine wash cold, hang to dry, and steer clear of the dryer's high heat to protect the fabric's wicking performance. Every KeAloha purchase, including this one, sends 10% to ocean and wildlife conservation, closing the loop between the recycled plastic in this tank and the water it came from.
