Coastal weather rarely commits to one forecast, and the Deep Teal Water-Resistant Windbreaker is built for that in-between drizzle that soaks through anything less prepared. It runs true to size with a PFAS-free water-resistant DWR finish that beads water off the shell, delivering real protection from salt spray and light rain without relying on the "forever chemicals" found in conventional waterproof coatings. The deep teal colorway feels right at home on a dock, a boardwalk, or a windy coastal overlook.
The shell is made from recycled polyester (rPET), spun from cleaned, melted-down post-consumer plastic bottles rather than virgin petroleum. That process takes meaningfully less water and energy than making new polyester, and it keeps plastic bottles out of landfills and, fittingly, out of the ocean this jacket is built to help protect. Combined with the PFAS-free DWR finish, the fabric stays durable and moisture-wicking through salty, windy conditions, resisting the wear that coastal weather puts on lesser jackets.
Machine wash cold, hang to dry, and rinse off salt air exposure when you can — avoid fabric softener and high heat, both of which shorten the life of the DWR finish.
