That earthy color sits on a brushed organic cotton fleece, grown without the synthetic pesticides conventional cotton farming typically requires — notable given that conventional cotton occupies about 2.5% of world farmland yet drives nearly 16% of global insecticide use. Farming it organically protects the soil and water nearby and results in a fabric that's genuinely soft and breathable against the skin, holding its shape and color through wash after wash instead of fading or stretching out.
