Misty forest trails and sudden mountain showers are precisely the conditions the Sage Water-Resistant Windbreaker was built to handle. It runs true to size with a PFAS-free water-resistant DWR finish that beads moisture off the shell before it soaks through, giving you genuine weather protection without the "forever chemicals" found in most traditional waterproof coatings. The sage colorway blends naturally into a green canopy or a fog-covered ridgeline, making it as much a part of the landscape as your boots.
Its shell is constructed from recycled polyester (rPET), made by cleaning and melting down post-consumer plastic bottles instead of drawing on new petroleum resources. This process uses meaningfully less water and energy than manufacturing virgin polyester, while pulling plastic waste out of landfills and the waterways that wind through so many forest trails. Layered with the PFAS-free DWR treatment, the fabric stays durable and moisture-wicking through repeated exposure to drizzle, humidity, and shifting mountain weather.
Machine wash cold, hang to dry, and skip fabric softener and high heat, both of which wear down the water-resistant finish faster.
