This hoodie is made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, grown without the synthetic pesticides used throughout conventional cotton farming. The scale of that difference is easy to underestimate: conventional cotton accounts for roughly 2.5% of the world's farmland but nearly 16% of global insecticide use, a disproportionate chemical load that runs off into soil and waterways far beyond the farm itself. Organic cotton sidesteps that entirely, giving you a fabric that's softer against the skin, more breathable in shifting coastal weather, and grown in a way that doesn't compromise the ecosystems downstream.
