Sand gives the Windbreaker a warm, sun-bleached neutral that feels right for a dawn surf check or a breezy beach walk before the crowds show up. The lightweight, wind-resistant shell shrugs off an early coastal gust, the full-zip front lets you layer it over a wetsuit top or a tee with equal ease, and the adjustable hood keeps sand and wind out of your face. It's a shade that looks as at home on a boardwalk as it does packed in a beach bag.
The shell is made from rPET, recycled polyester produced by cleaning and melting down post-consumer plastic bottles rather than drawing on new petroleum. It holds its shape and wind resistance through repeated wear near salt air and sand, while using meaningfully less water and energy in production than virgin polyester and keeping plastic bottles out of landfills and waterways. A quietly better choice for a jacket built for the coast.
Machine wash cold on gentle and hang to dry, avoiding high heat that can compromise the shell's finish. As always, 10% of this purchase funds ocean and wildlife conservation, so wearing this sand-toned shell on the shoreline gives a little something back to it.
